Actress, you come on stage.
Ignore the character,
Speak to the world.
Plunge my mind into a whirl.
Actress, you stand amidst
Cold metal and mechanics,
Contrast for the world
Who’s attention you seek.
Actress, it’s your choice,
To let no one else understand,
Lock the key to your heart
And hold it in your hand.
Let them laugh at your demise,
They’ll never sympathise,
Barriers to entry,
Doors close towards me.
