PeaceMaker
Walking in velvet purple
Fingers joint in prayer
He walks to his throne.
"Now that I'm the heir,
Peace will prevail alone"
He yeilded his sword,
Incribed by blacksmiths with doves
Threw it on the floor,
Together with his love.
Injustice plagued the city,
People tortured by war.
Blood, corpses, tears
His kingdom's an eyesore.
His heart was captured
By his enemy's girl,
One heartless king,
Throws his kingdom in a whirl.
He walked into enemy territory
Determined to make peace.
He bought two doves, gifts,
To, his future father in law, appease.
Through the gates, he reverently stride,
In hand, a veiled cage, two doves hide.
The king before him, he grows a smile
Reaching out, he removes the veil.
The two doves were fighting.

One piece left,
One card to play,
The dice to gamble
Choice of life’s way
An ear for an ear
One bite returns another
The latter plots revenge
Sons fight the duel of fathers
Black and white
Kings and queens
The rulers are ruled
Controlled by above
After all, one is
No where near what
One is worth.
