Empty
Absent, a void appeared
The desk was unoccupied
A pair of butterflies laughed
At his pathetic plight.
Plate by bowl by cup
Food forced deep within
Yet that could not fill
That large space in him.
Darkness engulfed the days
Yet it wasn't really there.
Like the lady in his dreams,
The one with white and black hair.
The eyes that never met
Lost their pupils, became white
The significance that never came
Reduced him to such a disgusting sight.
Never knew going was so painful till today.
